After a presence of more than 10 years in Brussels, the prêt-à-porter brand opens its Belgian Flagship Store and chooses Avenue Louise.

Zadig & Voltaire, the French “casual rock” fashion brand was founded in 1997. Its signature creations: cashmere, the skull & the angel, and the rock side present throughout its clothing line and accessories for women, men and children. The brand launched its activities in France on the very chic left bank in Saint-Germain-des-Prés before conquering the major European capitals including Brussels.

Zadig & Voltaire has 6 sales outlets in Belgium, including 2 in Brussels on Avenue Louise (numbers 80 and 92). Until now, these two stores offered the prêt-à-porter collection over 2 levels. As of September/ October 2017, these two stores will close and be replaced by a brand new Flagship Store that’s more than 400 m² at Avenue Louise 60. This new outlet will bring the brand's collection together on one level. Following the model of previous flagship stores Zadig & Voltaire have opened, the shop is expected to display an "industrial" look made of metallic materials and that’s very bright.

The new location chosen by the brand at Avenue Louise 60 is very significant. With proximity to the current outlets, the brand is able to maintain its strategic position on one of the most popular high-street locations in the capital, while increasing its sales area across a one single level. Formerly occupied by Francis Ferrent, the shop is one of the few commercial spaces still available for rent in the area.

Jonathan Delguste, Retail Agency High Streets Partner highlights, "The opening of the brand's first flagship store in Brussels, and particularly in the Louise district, sends a strong signal to the market. It testifies that this part of Avenue Louise continues to have an appeal for high-end international brands. New brands in this market segment still aim to establish themselves in this area of Brussels. Some of these brands such as IRO and Sisters have recently found a store in this area, which will fill all remaining vacant areas in this part of the street. "
