De Vlier has appointed Cushman & Wakefield to manage its Frunparks in Izegem and Auvelais

After De Vlier and Cushman & Wakefield’s successful collaboration on the L’Hydrion site in Arlon, De Vlier Retail Development will henceforth entrust Cushman & Wakefield’s Property & Asset Management Department with the management of its Izegem and Belle Sambre Frunparks.

The De Vlier S.A. [Public Limited Company] Group has been an active Belgian property developer since 1979. In 2004, De Vlier decided to launch and build up the FRUN®PARK brand. The concept behind this brand is that we offer a package which includes the property as it is, as well as the brand’s services, dynamic administrative management and an attractive marketing policy.

The Izegem Frunpark at Krekelmotestraat 62 opened in August 2009. It boasts a surface area of 21,000 m² with 550 parking spaces and houses 22 brand names, among them C&A, Carrefour Market, JBC and Krëfel.

The Belle Sambre Frunpark, at Rue Bois Ste Marie 124 in Auvelais, has a surface area of 14,615m², 472 parking spaces and 15 brand names, among them Blokker, Casa, Intermarché and Leenbakker. It opened in August 2011.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Property & Asset Management Department currently manages a property portfolio encompassing 543,000 m2 of surface area, of which 235,000 m² consists of retail parks, i.e. more than 40% of the total surface area.The Department manages 61 buildings for a total of 225 lessees.
