The Challenge
ProWinko is a developer/ investor with its origin in The Netherlands who was looking to develop a new major retail project in Brussels and to find appropriate tenants to occupy their retail units.
The Solution
The Toison d'Or project demanded the collaboration of multiple teams who worked together to complete the missions assigned to Cushman & Wakefield, namely the Capital Markets team who sought out new opportunities which could be of interest to Prowinko and also assisted them with defining the right sales strategy when they sold properties; the Valuation team who assisted with defining the rental and property values of their properties; and the retail team who advised them on the leasing of their empty properties, lease renewals, etc.
The Results
As a result Cushman & Wakefield was instrumental in increasing the critical mass of ProWinko's retail investment and development portfolio and in finding the right tenants for their stores.
In the process of advising them on the development and the leasing of a major scheme on Avenue de la Toison d’Or in Brussels, Cushman & Wakefield enabled Prowinko to rent 12 000 sqm to Apple, Marks & Spencer, Zara and Bodum.
