C&W awarded sole agency instruction to find appropriate plots of land for the implantation of a new European Distribution Center (“EDC”) for Dow Corning
Dow Corning had approached C&W in 2007 regarding the search of appropriate plots of land of 17 ha located in the surroundings of its current centre located in Houdeng. The aim was to find a plot of land where Dow Corning’s ideal EDC footprint could be built, taking into account that the EDC is bound to the SEVESO regulations.
Step 1: Make an inventory/draft a list of appropriate plots of land of 17 ha located in the surroundings of Dow Corning’s current centre.
Step 2: C&W further accompanied the company in its search of an ideal developer, by setting up an RFP process.
Step 3: After a thorough selection process, the company finally settled on Cordeel, a Belgian based developer and construction company.
In 2011the construction of the 35,000 sqm European Distribution center in Feluy was finalised.
